(Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) I am a board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and have 7 years of nursing experience in Psychiatric field ranging from adult inpatient care to people developmental/intellectual disability. I received my Associate of nursing at Prince George Community College and Immediately started working as a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient correctional institute. While attending University of Maryland Global campus for Bachelor of science in Nursing and Walden State University for Master Degree in Nursing. My focus is on treatment of mood disorder, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance abuse and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management, and psychotherapeutic intervention across the lifespan I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment.
